Who we are

Nicolette Sarzosa Photography LLC ("Nicolette Sarzosa Photography", "we", "us") is a maternity, newborn and cake smash portrait studio in Denville, New Jersey, at 84 Broadway, Suite E, Denville, NJ 07834. What we collect

• What you type into an inquiry form, whether that form is on this site or is a lead form you filled in inside Facebook or Instagram: your name, email address, phone number and your answers to the form's questions.
• What you tell us afterwards in a call, a text or an email.
• Technical information your browser sends when you open a page: IP address, device and browser type, the pages you viewed, and the advertising identifiers described below.

We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, government identifiers or health records through this site.

How we use it

• To call, text or email you back about the inquiry you made.
• To schedule, confirm and remind you about an appointment.
• To answer your questions and send you the information you asked for.
• To understand which advertisements and pages lead to real inquiries.
• To keep records we are required to keep, and to enforce our terms.

Text messages and calls

When you submit an inquiry form you agree that Nicolette Sarzosa Photography may call and text you at the number you provided about your inquiry, including replies to your questions, scheduling messages, booking confirmations and appointment reminders, some sent by an automated system. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. You must be 18 years of age or older to opt in to text messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS terms.

No mobile information, phone numbers, or SMS opt-in consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text-message services themselves.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won't be shared with any third parties.

Who else touches your information

• Our customer records and messaging platform, which stores your inquiry and sends the emails and text messages we send you, together with the carriers and messaging aggregators that deliver a text.
• Our website and hosting providers, which serve these pages and pass your form submission to us.
• Our marketing agency, which runs our advertising and may use your information only for that.
• Advertising and analytics platforms, described in the next section.

We do not rent or sell your information for money. We do share limited information with advertising platforms as described below, and some state privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly enough to cover that. Your phone number and your text-message consent are treated differently and are covered by the three statements above.

Advertising and analytics

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. Those platforms and our analytics tools may set cookies or receive information about your visit, including a page view or a completed inquiry, so we can measure which advertisements work. You can limit this in your browser settings, in your device's advertising controls, and in your ad settings on the platform itself. We honour Global Privacy Control and similar browser opt-out signals where the law requires it.

How we protect it

We protect your information with reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. These pages and your form submissions travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, the systems that store your inquiry require a password to sign in, and only the people who help us answer you can see it. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so if we ever learn of a breach that affects your information we will tell you as the law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records for as long as we are in touch with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can honour an appointment, answer a question about our work and meet tax and record-keeping obligations. If you ask us to delete your information we will, except where we are required to keep it.

Your choices

• Stop the texts by replying STOP to any message from us.
• Stop the emails using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by writing to us. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to opt out of targeted advertising. The same email address is how you exercise them. studio@nicolettesarzosa.com.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. You must be 18 years of age or older to opt in to text messages.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect.
